Centibox – Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Centibox is a puzzle game developed by Baring's Prod. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Centibox mobile application (the "App") on Android or iOS.

The App is free to play and supported by optional rewarded video advertisements provided by Google AdMob. This means that some data may be collected by Google in connection with the display of ads, as described below.

2. Data We Collect Ourselves

Baring's Prod does not collect, store, or have access to any personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:

Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
Location data
Usage analytics or telemetry sent to our servers
Crash reports sent to our servers

Your best score is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Third-Party Advertising — Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display optional rewarded video ads. Watching an ad is voluntary and triggered only when you choose to use the Hint feature.

Google AdMob may collect and use the following data to serve ads:

Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
Device information (model, OS version, language)
IP address (used to infer approximate location)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:

iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable for Centibox
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID

4. Consent — GDPR & iOS App Tracking Transparency

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the App will display a consent form (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) before showing any advertisement. You can choose to accept or decline personalised ads. Declining will result in non-personalised ads being shown instead; your ability to use the Hint feature is not affected by your choice.

On iOS 14 and later, the App will request permission to use your device's advertising identifier via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, before any ad is displayed.

5. In-App Review

The App uses the standard App Store / Google Play in-app review API to allow you to rate the app. This is handled entirely by Apple or Google. No data is shared with us through this mechanism.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The advertising features use Google AdMob's standard audience settings; we have not enabled child-directed ad settings as the App is intended for a general audience.

7. Data Retention

Baring's Prod retains no personal data. Data collected by Google AdMob is subject to Google's own retention policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
